THE DISTRUPTION COMPANY / TBWA HK TBWA HK asked reddoor to produce a variety of sound effects for their client's new website the disruption consultancy. The sounds for this site had to be organic yet a little unusual, and unexpected. The transformations from section to section involved alot of thought how to change from one form to another. we also wrote a little tune that resembles that happy easy going nature, to underscore the light heartedness of the overall feel for this little miniture world. This website went on to win a few awards in HK 1 Gold for Best Animation, 1 Silver for Best Art Direction and 1 Silver for Best Website

VIRTUAL PERSPECTIVES Virtual Perspectives one of UK's leading Virtual photography companies ask us to write some music and do some sound design for their corporate clients, this was to immerse you in an enviromment and give you more than just a static page. whether it be by the sea, or a groovy restaurant, a rockin night club or a bar at the Wales Millennium Centre for their sound enabled 360 degree virtual tours CULTURE CUBS Culture cubs is a bilingual DVD series for young kids to learn English and Madarin. The series features two bears that have become friends called Huck, a bear from the US and a Panda called Xia Lung from China. Together they explore different environments, play snap together, do some painting and teach each other English and Mandarin along the way. Ian's music and sound effects are a mix of both Folk/Country and of course Asian music with chinese instruments such as bamboo flutes and gu zheng to suit both the bears and their environment. 1421 ZHENG HEA documentary about a Chinese admiral that according to Gavin Menzies (author of “1421 The Year China discovered The World ”) set sail with a huge fleet of 300 ships, and discovered America 71 years before Columbus!!! THE LISBON MARUAnother Documentary with Phoenix TV called “The Sinking of the Lisbon Maru"The Lisbon Maru left Hong Kong On October 1st 1942 and was on it’s way back to Japan with around 1800 P.O.W’s on board. It was sunk just of the coast of China near Shanghai by an American Submarine. Ian’s tracks portray the events that happened to it’s crew during the ordeal and even many years after when a few remaining survivors we’re interviewed by Phoenix TV.
